Celebrating Valentine’s Day with Taksim
With the onset of the Valentine’s week, one can find love in the air all around. With couples trying to spend most of their time together and the kids rejoicing in the theme of the Valentine’s, red becomes the favorite color for a week. We were invited for celebrating Valentine’s Day with Taksim by their executive chef Sanjay. Taksim for us turned out to be a synonym for the word FLAWLESS! With perfectly done interiors to beautiful outdoor seating arrangements, the first impression of this place is remarkable.
Location and Ambience:
Taksim is located at the ground floor of the Ansal Plaza Mall in South Delhi. The place is well connected by all means of transport and can be reached easily. The ambience of this place is done with utmost interest and depth. As soon as you enter Taksim, you are greeted by a soothing music with dim lights. The indoor seating is comfortable with a bar on the left.

The Kohliwada Fish Tikka and the Dhaniya Lasooni Murg Tikka were amongst the ones not to be missed. We also tried the butter chicken pizza and it was one of the best butter chicken pizza we had till date. The Dahi Ke Sholay were tasty thick spiced yogurt wrapped in bread and the Penne Pasta in Red Sauce was flavorsome.

For desserts we had the Bannofie Pie and the Chocolate Mud Slide. Both the desserts were good and had the right balance of sweetness but we personally liked the Chocolate Mud Slide more. Have you been to the Taksim? Do share your experiences with us!
